I have been looking at people’s best answers now for a couple of months, and I can’t figure out why people ask for help on losing weight and such and ignore the right answers and pick the lazy way out answers. Are people so lazy that they will only accept answers that promise results and provide no degree of difficulty?

I find exercise, weight-training and athletic training questions to be the most interesting but to get to them you have to wade through 30 anorexia questions first. Maybe Just “Weightloss” could be its own subsection, under Diet and Fitness, I agree that often fitness and nutrition are related but there are so many variations on “how can I loose a ton of weight really fast” –it wastes your time to have to look at them. Been there, thanks for the b*tchy answer, what’s your problem?

This isn’t a question about Boston so please hold the flaming. This is a question about strategy using the Red Sox as an example. They now have two first-rate short relief pitchers, one a lefty and one a righty. Wouldn’t it make sense tactically to use them so they get the best match-ups instead of automatically putting one in the eighth and one in the ninth? Also, if the stress of pitching the ninth is so huge, it seems to me it would make sense strategically to have two pitchers share the burden, and it would also provide the team some protection against injury (if one is injured there’s still a pitcher who has recent experience closing). Has any team voluntarily used this scheme since the current closer system was adopted? What factor am I missing that makes it unattractive? Thanks for your input. Thanks for the info, Mikey. It seems to me Colorado didn’t go to two closers voluntarily, however. Also, I don’t see how having two closers means the team doesn’t have confidence in either one. It means they have confidence in both and will use them to get the best match-ups at the end of the game. I know closers make more, but teams like Boston could afford it. Outlaw, what is going to be unusual about the next month?MechanicalMan, as I recall, that Boston team with no traditional closer had no reliever nearly as good as their current late-inning pair. Saying that proved anything is like saying the West Coast offense in football is no good because some average team with a middling quarterback running it scored fewer points than the league average. MechanicalMan, also an excellent point in your last paragraph. I think facing A-Rod or Manny in any inning requires more mental toughness than facing the bottom of the order in the ninth. Obviously pinch hitters are likely in the ninth, but no team can put up three pinch hitters as tough as the middle of their order.

I know the bible says you can divorce only for sexual immortality. But is there anything that supports NOT divorcing if their truly repentive. Or if their are children involved?
