      Drs. David Samadi and Mark Siegel discuss new healthcare reform policies being considered by the Obama administration and the implications for many medical procedures that are provided to people and paid for by government programs. For example, robotic prostate surgery, a procedure that is performed by highly skilled surgeons, like Dr. Samadi, will be reviewed by an independent Medicare Advisory Board that will consider if the procedure is necessary or unnecessary based on the review of general treatment outcome data and overall costs.
