Sherlock/John – The Science of Destruction

WARNING: SLASH Afraid of losing John’s friendship, Sherlock keeps his true feelings hidden. When Sherlock finds John on a date with Sarah at their flat he is devastated and quickly leaves. Having always struggled with drug use, Sherlock finds himself relapsing as a way to deal with his despair. Catching Sherlock with drugs, John secretly follows him to the man who has been supplying his drugs and shoots him. When Sherlock realizes it was John trying to protect him, he attempts to tell John how he feels, but is interrupted by a call from Sarah. Sherlock becomes increasingly jealous and despondent over John’s relationship with Sarah. They have a heated argument. Sherlock begins to reflect over his life since he’s known John, their relationship, adventures, as well as his drug addiction, and contemplates suicide John, confused and upset, feels he has failed Sherlock. It is then that he realizes it’s Sherlock he truly loves and not Sarah. He rushes back to tell Sherlock. When he arrives, he panics when he is unable to enter the flat and the doorbell goes unanswered. When he thinks he sees Sherlock on the balcony, he enters the building through a different door. Sherlock, thinking he saw John as well, reconsiders jumping. When he re-enters the flat he finds John in his bedroom waiting for him.
