    1. “What kind of place is this?!” :-) ))

    2. @thisherecat that’s because the ones you hear on tv are usually pretty awful.

the american accents on agatha christie are usually pretty bad too.

    3. I LOve the House & View!!

    4. “You don’t expect ME to introduce ME…Do you?”! – Go on and introduce me Hastings…gotta love Poirot!

    5. Aw Hastings is so awesome! His attempt at sulking is foiled by the fact that he’s such a nice chap!

    6. I love the episodes Hastings is in… the dynamic between him a Poirot is amazing :)

      Awww, poor Hastings :’( <3

    8. hastings <3

    9. I agree with you, tailspoona.

    10. That cry of “Quee”. Haha!!

    11. @lycangold The accent is intentionally fake, whether or not the actor could do it better if he tried harder. But on the whole the series could have beenefitted from the services of a diction and dialect coach, preferably one expert in French, to help Suchet out even though he can speak the language. He makes the occasional howler like pronouncing the G in magnifique, air-kyül with a Y,and mistakes in his English which no native francophone would make under the influence of his first language.

    12. I can’t say I care for Nickie’s friends very much. They are all spoiled rotten and possess attrocious manners.

    13. @thisherecat that horrible strine is a poor man’s attempt at an Australian accent. they overdo it. Our accent isn’t that bad. The woman sounds a little more natural but still terribly yokel. Of course our current Aussie PM sounds worse than them both, so I guess I can only defend so much…

    14. Wow, the wardrobe!!! I want all of what Freddie and Nick wears!!!!!! They have insanely perfect style.

    15. @xxxPurplexGirlxxx I know! Expecting Hastings to say something nice about anyone that isn’t at least a 34C is asking for a lot. Now if Hastings was describing a cute girl that is too young, he would have gushed.

    16. “Well, uh, M.Poirot is a detective. Uhhhh… a great detective.”
“My friend, is that all you can find to say? Mais dis donc! Say then to Mademoiselle that i am the detective unique, unsurpassed, the greatest that ever lived!”
“Well there doesnt seem much point now. You told her yoursellf”

      lol i love that part

    17. I actually can only think of a few American accents in these series, both excellent. One was Elliot Gould in Blue Train, which sounded absolutely perfect, and then Emily Blunt in Death on the Nile. That was pretty good too. Just like a posh New England girl would sound. And as i have lived in the area all my life, i think I would know. Well, up to the last three years, I live close to Chicago now.

    18. @lycangold Better than the American accents they put in this series. But as I’ve said before, with all the crappy accents we Americans put in our films…we deserve it. ;)

    19. WORST Australian accent EVER. And by a Scouser no less!!

    20. Hastings in great

    21. 5:28 LOL!!!

    22. @thisherecat Why? I love their accents-very charming and sexy. But to each his own I suppose….

    23. Ha ha ha….I laughed so hard when Poirot was so annoyed with Hastings for not saying immediately he was the greatest detective in the world…

    24. hav anyone noticed poirot’s demarche lol

    25. Every time I hear an Australian I cringe.
